Joe Waller, founder of the group, labels the music performed by Jackson Creek as "fiddle-folk-grass." It is a dynamic blend of folk music (both covers and Joe's fantastic songs,) mild bluegrass music, and many styles of fiddle tunes, with a little gospel, western music, and civil war period music depending upon what is requested for the event.  There IS something for everyone! We want you to enjoy yourselves!  Clap your hands!  Sing along... and please.... get up and dance!!!

Katie Bailey Waller,  fiddler from Enterprise, was classically trained on the viola and violin, but is now having a wonderful time playing fiddle!!! Katie won 2nd place in the Old Time Fiddle Music Championship 1999 and 2nd in the State Twin Fiddle Contest at White Spring 2001. Joe and Katie both teach workshops and  fiddle classes at the Sunshine State Acoustic Music Camp and Will McLean Festival and the Florida Folk Festival.

Joe and Katie are often joined by The Morse Family Band for performances and dances.  Dawn Morse brings a solid bass to the group and along with the whole family  (Matthew, Leah, Abigail, Aaron and Seth) sings marvelous harmonies!  The Morse family are all multi-instrumental talents!!!
