"Southern Jubilee" performs high energy music for contra dances throughout Central Florida..... Orlando, Cassadaga, Tampa, Gainesville, and has enjoyed summer trips to play for the Atlanta, Charleston, SC and Winston-Salem, NC dances!

We also perform for folk festivals, group meetings, house parties weddings, and wedding receptions, including the Florida State Folk Festival at White Springs, Lake County Folk Festival, South Florida Folk Festival, Barberville Fall Jamboree, Old Daytona Days, Lake County Folk Club in Eustis, etc.   Southern Jubilee is also called Jackson Creek String Band and provides folk songs, instrumental combinations, old time dance music and can provide a caller for private party barn dances if you wish. We have brought music to re-enactment dinner dances, organization "barn dance" nights... and Sadie Hawkins dances.    

As an additional style... Southern Jubilee enjoyed learning English country dance tunes when they played regularly for the St. Augustine English Country Dance group with Charlie Dyer It's elegant... it's beautiful... it's fun!  Join us! It's also perfect for wedding music!
